Royal Worcester hand painted orchid design double handled vase shape number 1089. The base has the registration number 27579 which was registered in 1885 and the letter Y on the backstamp dates the year of manufacture to 1887.
Signed by E Raby, Edward Raby 1863-1940 who painted for Royal Worcester and then later worked for Royal Doulton.
The vase has a pierced neck, raised decoration to the vase and is heavily gilded.

The vase is in good condition with no chips cracks or repairs, there is some slight wear to the gilding which is to be expected with 130 years of handling.
