James Hadley hand painted decorative bud vase with twin handles and pierced work to the neck. The vase is decorated with blackberries and floral scenes very characteristic of the works of Kitty Blake who was working at Hadley Worcester at the time before moving to Royal Worcester when they acquired the business after James HADLEYS death. The backstamp depicts the Hadley Worcester England mark which was only used between 1902 and 1905 after James Hadley had separated from an agreement they had with Royal Worcester.

The vase is in excellent condition for its age with no chips cracks or repairs, the glaze has good lustre and there is no wear to the gilding.
