Japanese hand painted Kutani ware fine eggshell china cup, saucer and plate depicting Japanese ladies in traditional clothing and rural scenes. The cup has the lithophane to the base which when held up to the light shows a geisha head in the base of the cup visible through the eggshell porcelain which adds an extra element of desirability.

The items are in good condition for the age with no chips cracks or repairs.
