Senior Monarch wind up gramophone with a square shaped oak case to the base, panelled sides, reeded pillars to the corners leading down to a concave moulding, decorated with a geometric design beading. The base houses the wind up spring mechanism. A large fluted oak timber horn is attached to the base by a nickel plated gooseneck tone arm. The timber horn was available as an upgrade from the painted metal horn and now very rare to find. The gramophone has a triple spring motor, 12” turntable, brake and speed controls.
