Pair of retro handcrafted ‘Kiwiana’ timber bookends Made in New Zealand featuring a carved Maori tiki design sitting on a hollowed out cavern.
Manufactured by Sovereign Woodworkers Whanganui around the 1950’s, the woodworks were well known for producing quality New Zealand made souvenirs created by skilled artisans. Most of the designs were made from laminated timber.
These bookends are made from various unique laminated timbers which are native to New Zealand all of which are listed on the base.
