OAK ARTS & CRAFTS HALLSTAND
Early 20th century light oak Arts and Crafts Australian made hallstand. Open worked back in a circular form with beveled edge mirror, below sits a central glove drawer and shelf.
Flanked by two shaped pedestal front legs with square caps to the top.
4 cast iron hooks to the top section, original umbrella drip trays and solid oak panel base.
Nice original condition, slight deterioration to the mirror back.
The Arts and Crafts movement stood for traditional craftsmanship using simple forms, often opposing the ornate and ‘artificial’ styles of the Victorian era.
