This Royal Doulton Caprice pattern cup saucer and plate set from the 1930’s is one of Royal Doulton’s stunning patterns which captures the Art Deco period at its best. The vibrant colours and stylised shapes of the floral patterns are so typical of the era with the style accentuated by the radical triangular shape of the handle of the cup.

Registered design number RD 782999 shows the pattern was registered in 1933

There are no chips cracks or repairs but has crazing commensurate with age.
