Royal Doulton Shakespeare series ware D3596 was introduced in 1912 and withdrawn by 1928.
The 3 piece earthenware cruet set consisting of salt, pepper and lidded mustard pot, depicting ‘Falstaff’ one of Shakespeare’s comic fictional characters who appeared in multiple plays.
These individual pieces are rare to find and especially so to find a complete 3 piece set in good condition.
There are no chips cracks or repairs, the pieces have light crazing commensurate with age.
