Hand carved camphor wood chest depicting a Chinese village fishing scene with sailing junks. Two tone timber inlay panels and carved cherry blossom borders. The camphor gives natural protection from insect attack to clothes and blankets.

The chest is well carved and in good original condition. Approximately 50 years old.
